History...
From the offshoot of the Creative Expression Unit at Cherry Farm Artsenta has grown to be the thriving community of artists that we are today, occupying a large multi media workshop in Crawford St. Over the 25 years we have occupied 4 different premises. From institutionalised begginings at Cherry Farm Artsenta moved to Filleul St, then Moray Place forming a seperate identity of a supportive community revolving purely around art and creativity. A third move saw Artsenta based at Gt King St with more space to encompass a greater range of art based activities. We have been at our present site upstairsat 81 Crawford St for the past 6 years now and with the recent installation of our new chair lift at the back entrance off Vogel St we are now wheelchair friendly.
